No. You can book directly with TelePlus Care for a focused refill review. A regular family doctor is still important for long-term care, chronic disease monitoring, and medication changes, but a virtual refill visit may help when you need a timely review for an existing stable medication.

Often, yes — Ontario pharmacists can renew many ongoing prescriptions in limited quantities for continuity of care and can prescribe for a list of common minor ailments. Ask your pharmacy first. When a pharmacist can't extend it — refills lapsed, the dose changed, new symptoms, or the medication is outside their scope — a Canadian licensed doctor can review it online.
