Going back to work in Lethbridge after an illness or injury, and your employer wants a medical clearance note? A TelePlus Care provider meets you by secure video or phone for a full assessment of your recovery and your job duties, then decides whether you are ready. The assessment visit is covered with an active Alberta Health Card, or $80 without one, and the $60 certificate fee is charged only if you are cleared.
Book Return to Work AssessmentVisit covered with an active Alberta Health Card, otherwise $80 · $60 certificate only if approved

In Lethbridge, a TelePlus Care return to work certificate is issued only after a full assessment visit with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is covered with an active Alberta Health Card, or $80 without one. If the provider clears you to return, the certificate is $60. If not, there is no certificate fee.
Clinical content is reviewed for accuracy and scope. TelePlus Care appointments go ahead only when a doctor agrees it is the right call, after a real assessment, and the doctor will explain the next step if virtual care is not the right fit.
Agriculture and feedlots shape a lot of working life around Lethbridge County, and that work is hard on a body that has not fully healed. Before you handle livestock or run machinery again, an employer may want written confirmation that you are fit. Students heading back to clinical or practicum hours can face a similar request. The assessment is done by video or phone, so you can stay home until you are ready.
A return to work certificate is not the same as a regular doctor's note. A note explains why you were away. The certificate confirms you are fit to go back, gives your return date and, when needed, lists temporary limits on your duties, such as lighter work or shorter shifts.

Clearing someone to return to work is a medical decision, so it always starts with a full visit. Nothing is signed before the provider has talked with you.

There are two separate charges, and you only pay the second one if you are cleared. The visit is billed like any regular TelePlus Care appointment.
Sometimes it is too early to go back, or the provider needs more information first, such as a specialist report, test results or an in-person exam. In that case you are not charged the $60 certificate fee, and the provider explains the next step. That may be more time off, a follow-up visit, or seeing a doctor in person.
If an injury or a joint needs to be examined before a decision, the provider will send you for in-person care. The emergency department at Chinook Regional Hospital, 960 19 Street S, never closes and is the place for a serious farm or workplace injury. Health Link 811 gives free nurse advice day or night.

Having these ready helps the provider make a decision in one visit. Patients in Lethbridge and the surrounding area, including Coaldale, Raymond, Picture Butte, Taber and Fort Macleod, book the same way.
