A return to work certificate, also called a fitness for work or medical clearance note, confirms you are well enough to go back to your job. From Dieppe, you can have the full assessment by secure video or phone with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80, and the $60 certificate fee is charged only if you are cleared.
Book Return to Work Assessment$80 assessment visit · $60 certificate only if approved

In Dieppe, a TelePlus Care return to work certificate is issued only after a full assessment visit with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80. If the provider clears you to return, the certificate is $60. If not, there is no certificate fee.
Clinical content is reviewed for accuracy and scope. TelePlus Care appointments go ahead only when a doctor agrees it is the right call, after a real assessment, and the doctor will explain the next step if virtual care is not the right fit.
Between the commute and a walk-in wait, a clinic visit can use up most of a shift. That matters when you are about to go back after an illness or injury and your employer wants a fitness for work note first. Doing the full assessment by video or phone keeps the time you spend on it short.
A return to work certificate is not the same as a regular doctor's note. A note explains why you were away. The certificate confirms you are fit to go back, gives your return date and, when needed, lists temporary limits on your duties, such as lighter work or shorter shifts.

The certificate is never issued on request alone. A provider first needs to understand what happened, how you are recovering and what your job involves.

There are two separate charges, and you only pay the second one if you are cleared. The assessment visit is billed like a regular TelePlus Care appointment.
Sometimes it is too early to go back, or the provider needs more information first, such as a specialist report, test results or an in-person exam. In that case you are not charged the $60 certificate fee, and the provider explains the next step. That may be more time off, a follow-up visit, or seeing a doctor in person.
If the provider decides you need to be seen in person, the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont hospital in Moncton serves Dieppe and the Greater Moncton region. For anything life-threatening, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department, and call Tele-Care 811 for free nurse advice if you are unsure.

Having these ready helps the provider make a decision in one visit.
