Location decides whether you can book, and coverage decides what you pay. With an active Alberta Health Card, the general visit costs nothing. People covered by Saskatchewan health insurance, and anyone whose Alberta card isn't active, pay $80, even when they take the call on Alberta soil. Keep in mind that being in Alberta applies to everyone, so a Saskatchewan-covered patient sitting at home on the east side can't use this visit at all.
