- Getting prescriptions refill or lab results
- Treating minor illnesses like colds, allergies, or UTIs
- Getting mental health counseling or therapy

Telemedicine is not a substitute for emergency care or in-person visits when needed. It is a convenient and effective option for many situations, especially during the pandemic.
- To participate in a telemedicine appointment, you’ll need a device with internet access, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. You’ll also need a webcam and microphone for video calls, and a stable internet connection for optimal performance.

The duration of a TelePlus Care consultation can vary depending on several factors, including the nature of the visit, the healthcare provider’s practice, and the patient’s needs. However, here’s a general guideline:
Initial Consultations: Initial teleplus Care consultations typically last between 15 to 30 minutes. During this time, the healthcare provider will gather information about the patient’s medical history, current symptoms, and any relevant concerns. They may also discuss treatment options and recommendations.
Follow-up Visits: Follow-up visits may be shorter, typically lasting around 15 minutes. These appointments are often scheduled to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, or address any new symptoms or concerns that have arisen since the previous visit.
Specialized Consultations: Certain teleplus care consultations, such as psychiatric evaluations or therapy sessions, may be longer and can range from 30 to 60 minutes or more, depending on the complexity of the issues being addressed and the treatment approach used by the healthcare provider.
In general your visit is limited to the reason you booked your appointment for. If you asked questions beyond your booked concern and exceeded the scheduled time slot during your virtual call, the healthcare provider may handle the situation in one of several ways:
Extension of the Appointment: Depending on their schedule and availability, the healthcare provider may choose to extend the appointment beyond the allotted time to ensure that all relevant concerns are addressed thoroughly. Additional payment might be required if the visit exceeded the allotted time. Patients must agree to that before extending the appointment and additional charges added.
Rescheduling: If the provider has another appointment scheduled immediately after yours or if they are unable to accommodate an extended session, they may suggest rescheduling the remainder of the discussion for a later time.
Follow-up: If there are remaining topics or concerns to discuss, the provider may suggest scheduling a follow-up appointment to continue the conversation and address any additional questions or issues.
Referral: In some cases, the provider may determine that the issues raised during the consultation require more specialized attention or evaluation. They may refer you to another healthcare professional or specialist for further assessment and management.
